Oncoming Apocalypse: レミニセンス

Hey folks! Long time no post, huh? Sorry for that, things have been busy in real life. I'm now starting my thesis, also I have my organisation thing and studies for end term exam, plus I have to plan for my journey to Paris :p. Do you folks have any recommendation on what to visit in Paris? Help me by commenting in this post :p. Anyway, are you ready for the upcoming Visual Novel Barrage end of this month? I am not wakakakaka. But hey, I just discovered a hidden jewel! I have a premonition that this title is going to be a big thing. For one, this title seems to carry the same spiritual as 暁の護衛, one of my favorite visual novel ever. Most importantly, the protagonist seems to be the same type as 暁の護衛's that is badass (a punk that quickly resort to violence, never listens to others, but obsessed in reading book in his free time (lol combination)). Apparently the レミニセンス staffs are the same as 暁の護衛's, so this going to be awesome. How will this title fare? Let's first see some information about this title :D

Opening Movie

From VN*B: It seems the protagonist is a male teacher at a school. Somehow, he discovered a pod which inside is a human, and then that human awake from the pod. Seems stereotypical, huh? Well, let me phrase what I saw in the opening movie:

FAKE MEMORIES! SECRET ORGANISATION! GUNS! FISTFIGHT! ADRENALINE PUMPING! SECRET AGENT!

Anddd of course, alike the forte from 暁の護衛, PROTAGONIST WITH HUGE SECRETS! If you read the trilogy of 暁の護衛, you'll see that the main story is the male protagonist. It is just awesome that the novel doesn't revolve around the main heroines, instead around the male protagonist. And the protagonist is hugely awesome, badass, and kicking. Damn, it is really a good trilogy. Moreover, it just ridiculous that the male protagonist is a total punk but loves reading books hahahaha lololol. I will stop talking about 暁の護衛 here, but I will continue my ranting in another post about it wakakakaka ^o^

Coming back to レミニセンス, that is what I expected of it. A story revolving around the protagonist. The staffs are the same, also Sakakibara Yui sang the OP, so it is really 暁の護衛's feel. Did I also mention that the character design is one of the best out there? (IMO. This is very subjective. I think there is not many artists that can do very refined as レミニセンス's artist though)

One word: I'M GOING TO READ THIS! Not immediately though, I think in August when things have calmed down. In the meanwhile, I'll just enjoy this high speed internet I have wakakakaka
